Do I need special hardware?
No. Conexa runs on the equipment you already own — tablets, PCs, laptops. You are not forced to buy hardware from us, unlike vendors that require €500+ upfront before you can use the software.
Does Conexa require internet?
Yes, Conexa needs an internet connection. The upside: it's cloud-based, so it works on any device — phone, tablet, laptop — from your location, from home, or anywhere else. Open conexa.software in a browser or use the apps on App Store, Google Play or Microsoft Store. You're not tied to a single computer.
How do I migrate from another tool? Will I lose data?
Conexa supports direct Excel imports of your product catalog, stock, suppliers and supplier balances.
Is there support in English?
Yes. Conexa support is available in English and Romanian, Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00 (Romania time, GMT+2/+3) by phone, email and chat. We know the Romanian market deeply and continuously update the software for any legislative changes.
What types of businesses use Conexa?
Conexa is built on 3 specialized verticals: retail (600+ stores — grocery, multi-location, small and medium), HoReCa/restaurants (restaurants, cafés, bars, pizzerias, fast-food) and bakery (500+ units — bakeries, pastry shops). Each vertical has dedicated features — not a one-size-fits-all tool.
Is my data safe? Is Conexa GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Conexa runs on secured servers with TLS encryption, automatic daily backups and per-user access control. POINT OF BUSINESS SOFTWARE S.R.L. (the operator) complies with GDPR. Your data is accessible only to the people you authorize.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data stays yours. Before cancellation you can export the full history (sales, stock, invoices, reports) as CSV/PDF. We keep it for 30 days after cancellation for possible reactivation, then delete it per GDPR.
Can I have multiple users with different permissions?
Yes. Conexa supports granular roles and permissions: owner (full access), manager (reports + orders), cashier (POS + stock), chef (recipes), accountant (invoicing). Each employee has their own account and you see exactly who did what and when.
Does Conexa connect with my existing fiscal printers?
Yes, we support ANAF-approved fiscal printers from Datecs, Tremol, Custom and Daisy — the most common in Romania. Our team handles the integration during onboarding.
What is the Romanian e-Invoice (e-Factura) and when is it required?
e-Factura is Romania's national electronic invoicing system, integrated with the ANAF tax authority's SPV. It is mandatory for B2B since 2024 (penalties from 5,000 RON). Conexa issues and receives invoices via SPV automatically from the Pro plan, and the goods receipt note is generated automatically from the supplier's invoice.
Can I use Conexa on my phone? Is there a mobile app?
Yes — native apps on App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) and Microsoft Store, plus the web version. All are synced in real time — you see the same report on laptop and phone, with no manual export/import.
How long does team training take? Do I have to close my business?
No, onboarding happens without stopping operations. In 2 days your staff knows the daily features (POS, goods receipts, orders). For advanced reports we run a 1–2 hour workshop with the owner. Training is included.
Are updates extra? Do new features arrive?
Updates are automatic and included in the subscription. We ship new versions regularly — recent ones include automatic e-Invoice, proforma invoices, table management and a cake-orders calendar. The public changelog is in-app.
What's the difference between Conexa and other POS software in Romania?
Three major differences: (1) Conexa is a single system that replaces 3–4 separate tools (POS + inventory + invoicing + synced reports); (2) we have 3 verticals built separately — retail, restaurants, bakery — with dedicated features, not a one-size-fits-all tool; (3) transparent custom quoting tailored to your operational complexity.
